HAMCON & the ARRL Vermont State Convention —last Saturday in February
at the Holiday Inn. Exit 14E off I-89, in South Burlington. The best little ham-fest in the north! Expect the usual commercial vendors, some great workshops, ARRL events, the RANV Flea-Table for quality used equipment, an afternoon VE Session, and more. Doors open at 0800. License Classes—January 2—mid-February, 2012, Rutland area
The Green Mountain Wireless Society is once again scheduling their annual winter license classes. The session usually runs for 6 weeks, on Monday nights, at St Alphonse's in Pittsford, beginning January 2. There is no charge for the class series, possibly a book charge, and the exam fee at the end, in February. The classes are for both Technician and General levels. Contact Frank/W1AD for details.
